When we decided to purchase a home, we received a recommendation from family to use Debra Pitell-Hauge; this turned out to be one of the best decisions of our lives. Debra is the ultimate professional, but more than that, is one of a kind. When we began our search, Debra truly listened to our wants and needs and only made decisions in our best interest. We weren't seriously looking for a house till we were introduced to Debra at a viewing at the Esplanade of Siesta Key. We saw two homes, really liked one and a day later asked Debra to put in an offer on one of them. A day later the deal was done and now two weeks later we own it.This was an excellent process for my wife and I, it was so smooth that we asked Debra to take on the job of selling our current condo in the Landings. She is a very professional realtor, the process was smooth and as easy as anything that happened so quickly could be. She is an asset to your company!

We wanted to drop you a line to express our gratitude to Debra Pitell for the fine work she did for us. We were living in Michigan and looking for a vacation home in the Sarasota area. Debra came by a recommendation of an agent we had used in the past in Michigan. We gave Debra a list of homes we found on the web and gave her one day that we would be available to look at them. She made herself available to us for the whole day, and found an additional property that she felt we should see. Debra was correct, her choice property was also ours. We looked at it twice, but wanted to continue looking just to be sure we were making the right decision. Debra communicated well with us, always there to answer our questions. My husband, Richard, and I recently purchased a home in Lakewood Ranch. I am writing to commend the work of Debra Pitell. We have been working with her since early February.When we did find the house which seemed to fit our family best, it was the beginning of a very difficult relationship with the seller. Debra maintained a cool but responsive and professional demeanor throughout the four months it has taken us to finally get the house we wanted at a fair price. This experience has been an emotional roller-coaster. When it seemed nothing would satisfy this seller, Debra suggested we make a new offer. However, when we were finally in an area of agreement, the inspection uncovered incredible and costly problems with the property. She stayed the course with us and clearly carried the import of these problems to the seller's agent and the tough negotiations began again. Finally - with deadlines facing us - Debra prevailed, and we got our house. We could not have done it with a less experienced broker or one without nerves of steel! Now that we are getting settled into our new home on Longboat Key, we want to take the time to share our thoughts with you about our experience with real estate professional, Debra Pitell-Hauge. From telephone conversations and e-mails, she was quite insightful about detecting our taste and criteria regarding the type of condominium we would like to purchase.. Her organized preparation for our meetings, the selection of properties for viewing, and her communication skills were outstanding. Most of all, her professionalism was second to none. She proved to be extremely knowledgeable in the current real estate market on Longboat Key and the Sarasota area. We felt comfortable and confident that she would guide us in the right direction in choosing a new home for our next adventure through life. After a few visits to the west coast, we chose to make an offer on a condominium at the Tangerine Bay Club on Longboat Key. With Debra's negotiation abilities, our offer was accepted. The entire experience proved to be positive and Debra was able to keep our stress level to a minimum, which is often difficult in real estate dealings. There is no doubt in our minds that without the assistance of Debra we would not be enjoying living in our current home. When we made the decision to purchase a home in Florida we contacted our local realtor in Maryland to assist us in identifying the best realtor. Jan really pushed me to contact Debra Pitell; she had interviewed her extensively on the telephone and felt strongly that she had the knowledge and competence to handle our real estate needs. We met with her in the beginning of September. Debra was well prepared with the listings and to show homes that she had selected for us. In the short time we exchanged information through telephone and e mail Debra was able to ascertain the type of home and location that would be of most interest to us. We went back to Maryland and through fax and telephone made an offer and had a signed contract in our hand over a weekend. I attribute this to Debra's willingness to be accessible and available to her clients at anytime to ensure that they do not lose an opportunity with the market being as strong as it is. It did not end there either, there were some issues that needed to be resolved and Debra saw each and every one of them through. Thus ensuring everyone a smooth and on - time closing.
